Unless otherwise notified by a Tournament Referee at an UWHNZ sanctioned event. The following documents shall comprise the rules of Underwater Hockey as played in New Zealand

• CMAS Vol # 1 of the International Rules for Underwater Hockey
• CMAS Vol # 2 of the International Rules for Underwater Hockey
• The UWHNZ Competition Manual
